Yesterday I finished Water for Elephants. It was a very quick and satisfying read. The story opened up with the main character, Jacob, in a nursing home with flashbacks to his days in a train circus. I was especially satisfied with the ending. It didn’t end exactly as I expected, but it was a very pleasant and appropriate ending to the story. I would suggest this book to anyone looking for a good book to read.
